Transfer coating line for the manufacturing of PVC / PU artificial leather

Rollmac at today is one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of transfer coating lines for PU, PVC and PU/PVC artificial leathers.

These are sturdy, flexible and precise, capable of low operational costs; moreover their user can study new products and manufacture them under the newest processes. In this view Rollmac offers a complete service of research and development to attain personalized solutions, tailor-made under customer's specifications. A well equipped laboratory, including a scale transfer coating line in 800 mm width, is there to carry out trials, experiments and to develop new products.

In order to achieve the maximum result from the well known transfer coating technology, Rollmac offers either the traditional coating heads by knife, for thickness and "on-air" coating (floating knife) and combined coating heads by knife and engraved roller rotating in SYNCHRO and REVERSE.

Among the advantages offered by the engraved roller coating, is worth noting the small amount of resin to be coated (up to 0,8 g/m²), the saving in the release paper consumption up to the 30% and a deposited weight range from 10 to 430 g/m².

Rollmac designs and manufactures modular coating lines, available in many different configurations, up to 4 coating stations and with wet laminator and dry lamination ("one-coat" system).

The drying tunnels are delivered in 4 meters compartments, with simple or double ventilation and independent extraction, inverter controlled. The tunnel are diathermic oil heated for a max inside temperature of the chamber of 220°C, automatically set by thermoregulating devices. Alternatively steam, electric or gas burners heating are available. Unwinders, accumulators for the non-stop operation of the line, cooling units, detach groups and paper and product rewinders are completing the line.

All of them are proposed in different models and configurations depending on the requirement. The speed, synchronisation and setting of the pulls are performed by A/C motors inverter controlled. Upon request the lines can be integrated with automatic coated weight measures and supervision system for the automatized management of the whole line.
